Look mom, no hands!

As programmers, our hands are our tools - but today, we’re putting them down.

In this talk I will share my experience of using Talon voice for hands-free computer use. We'll go from basic navigation commands and browsing the web to incantations that would impress Gandalf himself. By the end, you’ll be ready to add your voice as a powerful new tool in your workflow.

I started on this journey in October 2024 out of necessity: I could not use a computer for more than a few minutes without sharp pain in my hands and arms. Today I'm able to type pain-free, but I continue to use Talon as additional input source and I strongly believe that everyone using a computer can benefit from Talon's power.
