Andre is going to talk about the development of a new UI
(the technology, not user experience) based on the Chrome Embedded Framework (CEF).
Biography
Andre started 36 years ago as a SW engineer in Philips (Display components)
with automating test tables for picture tubes. After 10 years moved to
ITEC, the internal back-end equipment manufacturer of Philps
Semiconductors (and then NXP and now Nexperia).
Over the years I had
several roles as SW architect, product manager, system engineer and
system architect for both the die and wire bonder.
But in all the roles,
part of my time was reserved to actually create SW. The first task at
ITEC was finishing their new graphical user interface :)
